In 1993, when the government took over the mechanized warehouse complex of the Ministry of Supply and Services of the USSR operating in Mongolia, only warehouse operations remained. In November 1998, it was privatized as a joint-stock company, and on June 1, 2003, it was changed to Ulaanbaatar Impex LLC.

Since October 1, 2004, by officially becoming a subsidiary of Nomin Holding, this facility has been renovated and restored, and continues to expand its activities even today.
